To make things simple for our customers Hybrid Gaming offers 4 classes of refurbished laptops. Each class of laptop is designed for a different type of buyer and comes with a minimum guaranteed specification. We don’t allow any low performance parts that will cause the laptop to run really slowly so that you just need to pick the type that best meets your needs!

Which Laptop type is right for me? :

Type A : Students and Startups

These laptops are aimed at people who need a laptop for basic Microsoft Office and internet use. Budget is the most important factor here but the laptop should feel fast and responsive to use. Typically these laptops will be up to these tasks for 2-3 years before new software updates make them too slow and can store around 1000 typical office files easily

Type B : Busy small business or long term students

These laptops are aimed at power users of Microsoft Office and the internet. Users may frequently need to have 5+ large documents open at once or need to record content for your social media. Typically these laptops will be up to these tasks for 2-3 years before new software updates make them too slow and can store around 5000 typical office files easily

Type C : Power users

These laptops are aimed at small business and people who need something that will last a long time. They have recent generation components and loads of storage space. You will be able to carry out basic video and image editing with ease, stream and work at the same time and have multiple large documents open at the same time without slowdown. Typically these laptops will be up to these tasks for 4-5 years before new software updates make them too slow and can store around 10000 typical office files easily

Type D : Gamers!

These laptops will have a graphics card capable of playing 90% of games on the market smoothly and plenty of memory to paid with it. We hand select specifications so that you have to confidence you are buying something capable

Type T : Ultra low budget

These laptops are customer trade in systems that do not fit into the specifications above. We will refurbish them and offer them for sale at a significant discount but they will only be suitable for very light use and will feel slow to use. Type T laptops are for when budget is the only concern

Laptop Condition :

Hybrid Gaming offers laptops in conditions from perfect through to good. We never sell laptops with major cosmetic issues and all laptops are guaranteed to be fully functional

Grade A+ : These laptops are in close to retail condition but may have 1-2 extremely minor scuffs or marks. You will have to look closely to know that it has been used. 

Grade A : These laptops are in great used condition. Scuffing is limited to the bottom plastics and there are no dents or scratches on the lid. The charger may show more signs of use.

Grade A- : These laptops are in good but used condition and may show some minor scuffing on the lid, edges and palm rest. Generally it will be easy to tell that the laptop has been used before but there will be no major cosmetic issues like denting or cracks.

Grade B : These laptops are in reasonable but used condition. These laptops may have deep scratches in the lid but we will have covered them with a stick on vinyl to restore the look of the laptop. The palm rest should only have minor scuffing but there may be heavy scuffing on the bottom of the laptop. The charger may also show signs of use but will be in 100% safe usable condition.

Hybrid Gaming do not sell laptops with a lower grade than B. 

Laptop Warranty :

All laptops come with a 90 day warranty which can be extended to 12 months as an optional extra.
